art for the greater good...


it is a great thing when you can finally make a living
doing what you love. it is even greater when you can take
some time to give back using your skills. seeing what you love
and create in this light means more than a just using it in
a commercial capacity.

san franscisco artists david choong lee & brian barneclo undertook
a project using their skills to help some of sf's homeless reworking
their 'please help' signs. the interview is taken from a two-part series
titled 'spare paint' and is another fantastic art endeavour under the
umbrella of sf group, upper playground.

the video is around 10 minutes long and worth watching when
you have a quiet patch in your day. be ready for a couple of tears also,
it is pretty moving stuff.
